The Giving Machine will be in Idaho Falls at the Grand Teton Mall from December 15th through January 1st. Ammon Stake is assigned the 16th with Ammon 4th assigned from 5 pm- 7 pm.

Soup Kitchen Cooks Needed (Attention: Bishoprics)
The Ammon Stake is assigned to provide lunch meals for the Soup Kitchen one day a week in January 2026.We need (4) people willing to help serve as cooks during our assigned days in January at the Soup Kitchen. While serving in this assignment, the cooks will be supervised by Bill Brotherson, General Manager of the Soup Kitchen. He will help the cooks with menus, quantities of food and instructions in the kitchen. Cooks need to help prepare and cook the food. Cooks need to be able to work from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The Ammon Stake’s assigned days are:
Friday January 2nd
Friday January 9th
Tuesday January 13th (second Tuesday)
Friday January 16th
Friday January 23
Friday January 30th
Cooks will receive instruction and training. Training is scheduled for Thursday December 18 at 7:00 PM, in the Soup Kitchen. It is preferred for the volunteer cooks to help the entire month of January if possible. Each ward in the stake will be assigned a day to provide additional volunteers to serve and clean up lunch. The sign-up sheet will be distributed in December. Bryce and Nadene Anderson, Stake Communication Representatives, will be there to help manage and assist the cooks and servers. If you are willing to serve as a cook, please let your Bishopric know so they can forward your information to Bryce and Nadene Anderson.
